The company achieved a positive deinking test on 100-gsm uncoated paper for all series. The inks ECO Perfect Dry and Rapida ECO have been positively accepted at 115-gsm and 120-gsm, respectively, when combined with Hubergroup's water-based coating. This allows print shops to produce quality print results while minimising environmental impact.

Rene Bleicker, consulting and sales sheetfed/UV at Hubergroup Germany, stated, “With our environmentally friendly offset printing inks, we can help printing companies meet the requirements for Blue Angel certification.” He added, “Our wide range of offset printing inks, water-based coatings, and dampening solution additives is specifically designed to support our customers on their journey towards greater sustainability and environmental protection.”

The Blue Angel certification (DE-ZU 195) illustrates the effectiveness of Hubergroup's products in maintaining environmental standards. The deinking tests conducted with uncoated and coated paper highlight the versatility of their applications. As a full-range supplier, Hubergroup also offers essential water-based coatings and dampening solution additives to assist printing companies in their operations.
