”On our centennial anniversary, we are happy to announce a rebrand in India from Huhtamaki PPL to Huhtamaki India. This will help our value chain experience one identity and impression of Huhtamaki, be it anywhere in the world. We look forward to starting the next chapter of our journey today, together with all our stakeholders and employees,” stated the company.
The company said that the renaming will cause no change in the ownership of Huhtamaki India nor the nature of its business. The rebranding enables Huhtamaki India to take advantage of the company’s global reputation while shaping its reach and offerings among its customers and partners by geography. ”It’s not just about our logo or specific products, but rather about a consistent customer experience,” it said.
The flexible packaging specialist’s brand represents a combination of trademarks, customer relationships and characteristics shaped by a 100-year history of Huhtamaki Group and its companies. The company has been leveraging its vast manufacturing network, expertise and operational synergies to deliver high-quality, innovative and sustainable products throughout this journey.
”We have come a long way since our founder, the young visionary Heikki Huhtamaki, set up a confectionery factory in a barn in rural Finland a hundred years ago. Since then, we have followed in our founding fathers’ footprints, by continuously taking on new challenges to become a company that delivers sustainable packaging solutions to billions of consumers around the world,” it added.
As we publish this news, the centenary celebrations across Huhtamaki’s 35 countries and 81 manufacturing sites around the globe are underway, following all the social distancing norms.
