The event, scheduled for 24-27 February at Messe Lucerne in Switzerland, will now feature leading international names such as Muller Martini, Screen Europe, Harris & Bruno International, Sappi, Leonhard Kurz, and Hybrid Software. Each company will present innovations in digital printing, finishing, and workflow automation, highlighting the latest advancements in high-speed production and sustainable printing solutions.

Muller Martini, which acquired Hunkeler last year, will demonstrate integrated solutions for smart factories, including inline applications for softcover book production and automated saddle-stitching systems. A key highlight at its booth will be an inline workflow featuring the Heidelberg Jetfire 50 press in combination with the Starbook Sheetfolder from Hunkeler and the Vareo Pro perfect binder, complemented by the InfiniTrim trimming robot.

Meanwhile, Screen Europe will showcase its flagship Truepress Jet 560HDX with live demonstrations of its SC2 Ink, designed for high-resolution inkjet output at high speeds. The company will also display the Truepress Jet 520NX-AD, optimised for transactional and direct mail printing, with speeds of up to 225m/min. Integrations with finishing equipment like the Hunkeler CS8 Roll to Stack system will further demonstrate an efficient, automated workflow from data processing to the final printed product.

Harris & Bruno International will highlight digital embellishment solutions, including the ZRX machine, which enhances uncoated media without lamination. The company will also have a presence at the HP booth, where its ZRW high-speed webcoater will be demonstrated, showcasing its ability to integrate seamlessly with HP’s high-speed web presses.

Sappi will present its Magno Web paper range, now produced with significantly reduced carbon emissions. Manufactured at the Kirkniemi Mill, the paper has achieved a 90% reduction in direct fossil greenhouse gas emissions. Sappi will highlight the product’s exceptional opacity, stiffness, and bulk across weights ranging from 90-250gsm.

Leonhard Kurz will display digital embellishment techniques, featuring the DM-Maxliner 2D machine for sheet enhancement. The company will also showcase hot, cold, and digital embellishment solutions alongside security products designed for brand protection. Visitors can see live demonstrations of high-quality metallisation on various substrates, including open-structured, uncoated papers from its collaboration with Sappi.

Hybrid Software will focus on workflow automation with its SmartDFE, a digital front-end tailored for high-speed inkjet presses. SmartDFE’s capabilities include an AI-accelerated Harlequin RIP farm that drives data inline to printhead electronics and OPC UA connectivity for industrial print environments.

Additionally, Meteor Inkjet representatives will be available to discuss printhead drive electronics and waveform development for inkjet printing devices.

Mike Rottenborn, CEO of Hybrid Software, called the event a key gathering for the industrial inkjet sector. “It’s always enjoyable – a gathering of like-minded people in a very focused setting. It provides an opportunity to connect with customers and OEM partners and listen to their challenges.”
