The programme is supported by Redington/HP Indigo, Chennai, SIES Graduate School of Technology (Mumbai), and Pressman Academy for Print Education & Research (PAPER) in Chennai.

The training would be provided by K Panthala Selvan, managing director, Idealliance South Asia, and PAPER. He said, “The three-day workshop will offer extensive demonstration and hands-on training to earn G7 Expert certification to support the printing and packaging supply chain. G7 is Idealliance’s set of specifications for achieving visual similarity across all print processes currently being revised into ISO 12647-2.”

The certification and training modules include an understanding of the concept of colour, workshops on measuring and understanding the printed sheets, and live calibration of machines.

It will play host to participants such as consumable manufacturers, application specialists, press owners, quality specialists, prepress operators, and printing faculty members.

In addition, Idealliance has made its online Color Management Professional (CMP) Fundamentals course available complimentary to registered attendees.
