IFCA Star Awards 2019 introduces new packaging categories

Milind Wagle of IFCA, said, “This year’s awards are open for participation. This includes FMCG and end-users of packaging materials like laminate and cartons, in areas like packaging innovations, product innovations/uniqueness, and new designs.”

In 2018, the IFCA Star awards was hosted at the MIG Cricket Club in Bandra. Dr Nikhil Joshi, managing director, Sapat Group, was the chief guest of the function.

Out of the 73 awards bagged by printing and packaging companies, ITC was the star with 13 awards followed by Huhtamaki-PPL with seven awards.

Uflex, Umax Packaging, Orient Press, TCPL Packaging won six awards each while Parksons Packaging bagged five awards.

"The IFCA Star Awards 2018 was a success, and I would request the members and non-members to extend their support for this year's edition as well," added Wagle.

The last day for submission of the entries is 31 October 2019.
