Kenneth Nysten, sales and marketing director, Iggesund said, “Every time we are placed highest in this survey we get confirmation that both our paperboard families offer what the market wants. Of course, it is particularly pleasing that the survey participants are converters, who make their living from transforming this white and lightweight paperboard into the functional and elegant packaging.”
According to the survey, over two hundred converters that process paperboard into finished packaging in Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium and numerous countries across Europe, have preferred Invercote and Incada as their top choice.
“The converters’ opinion, not least the fact that they single out runnability and product quality, reinforces our view that we are heading in the right direction with both Invercote and Incada,” added Nysten.
The survey also concluded that both Invercote and Incada’s high quality and sustainability characteristics comply with the selection criteria of the survey, along with the properties such as printability, runnability in the conversion process, and folding properties.
The survey analyses paperboards used in packaging segments such as the pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, cosmetics and beauty products, chocolate and confectionery products and dry foodstuffs among other.
Iggesund’s brands have been consistently placed at the top-tier of the survey since 2004.
Iggesund Paperboard is part of the forest industry group Holmen, which owns more than 1.3-million hectares of forest in Sweden and is one of the world’s hundred-most sustainable companies listed on the United Nations Global Compact Index.
