IIP to conduct two-day training programme

The Indian Institute of Packaging will conduct a two-day training programme on "Recent trends in packaging technology". The two-day event is scheduled for 2-3 July at their Bengaluru campus.

The event is aimed at increasing awareness among the people employed in all business related to packaging and allied industry. Commenting on the event N C Saha, director, IIP. said, “We are confident that the two day awareness programme will be of immense value to all who are working in quality control, research and development and other functions in packaging industry.

The first day will see key note address delivered by Vimal Kedia, director, Manjushree Technopack on ‘Significance of rigid packaging materials’. While Das Gupta, a packaging consultant, will talk about ‘Novel packaging system in FMCG.’ 

The second day will see representatives from Ficus Pax and Big Bag International present the innovations and advancements in paper, paper products and packaging materials. During the second half of the day the attendees will get insight on food and pharmaceutical packaging.
