IIP, Messe Dusseldorf to host Indiapack Pacprocess
What happens when a premier packaging institute Indian Institute of Packaging and a leading organiser of packaging exhibitions Messe Dusseldorf come together? The result is a brand new annual packaging exhibition — Indiapack Pacprocess.

The first edition of Indiapack Pacprocess will be held from 26 to 28 October 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The exhibition is formally launched on 21 March 2017 at a gala event in New Delhi in the presence of Inderjit Singh, additional secretary, ministry of commerce; Amitava Ray of Uflex; Thomas Schitt of Messe Dusseldorf India and NC Saha, Subodh Gupta and RVS Ramakrishna of Indian Institute of Packaging.
While the institute organises the IndiaPack exhibition, NC Saha of Indian Institute of Packaging said the association with Masse Dusseldorf will help bring in more international exhibitor to the show.
Indiapack Pacprocess will be an annual show and will be held in different cities in rotation. So far, Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru have been identified as the future locations.
Beside, the three-day show, the event will also feature a two-day international conference.
“With our expertise in exhibition handling and IIP’s expertise in knowledge sharing, we are trying to consolidate the Indian packaging exhibition market with this exhibition,” Thomas Schitt of Messe Dusseldorf India said.
The first edition of Indiapack Pacprocess will be held in a 10,000 sq/m area. The organisers are expecting 300 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors.
Messe Dusseldorf also organises its flagship events Drupa and Interpack in its home base Dusseldorf, Germany. The next edition of Interpack is scheduled for 4-10 May 2017.
