IMA-PG India launches Track n Trace
IMA-PG India, the Navi Mumbai-based manufacturer of automatic machines and complete lines to satisfy the needs of the pharmaceutical industry has launched a new Track n Trace system at the PackPlus show. This system uses thermal inkjet heads to print the code on the carton.

Vaidya G T of IMA-PG India, said, “The system generates codes on the cartons using thermal inkjet heads. These codes are used to provide the vital information like where the product has been manufactured, packed, batch number, which date-time it was manufactured and shipped. This system will help in anti-counterfeiting, which is very much required in the pharmaceutical segment.”
The 33-year old company which began manufacturing of rotary motion vacuum forming, blister packing machines in 1978, has since made significant developments in the field of thermoforming with special emphasis on catering to the demands and needs of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
