To drive his point at the show, Impel will be showing the power of Freedom 2K V2 binder with a barcode read input that will set the machine in a few seconds or the same machine can be connected to a gatherer and trimmer for regular production. Another kit, the Freedom 5K binder also has similar capabilities but addressing higher throughputs per day. And the comapny will present configurations to produce books with the lowest energy and space cost per book.
These machines were launched in 2022. The USPs of the kit: Bookbinding – short or medium or long runs, at the lowest investment, power, labour and space costs per book. "For a book printer, it is important that they produce books with the best of quality, at the shortest time consuming minimal labour, space and power. There is no other place in the world, they can get a close look at this – and plan for investments," said Sajith.
Is book publishing and printing back to normal? Yes, says Sajith. "Our newer kit is helping them make book ops more cost and quality efficient. Come and visit the Impel stand to witness the technology." Surely they know what they are talking about.
