India Design Forum 2013 to be held in Mumbai
India Design Forum’s second edition will be held at National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai on 15-16 March 2013.

The India Design Forum will feature over 20 speakers and leading experts from multiple design disciplines. The speakers will examine how designs inform the "world and change our lives, every day".
Some of the key speakers include Abanti Sankaranarayan, MD, Diageo India, Abraham Thomas, curator of the V&A’s design drawings collection, Asif Khan, Designer of the Future’ of Design Miami 2011, Deyan Sudjic, director of the London's Design Museum, Renny Ramakers, co-founder and director of Droog, Anuradha Parikh, Bollywood set designer and Domenic Lippa who is reputed for his work in packaging, print, identity design and retail graphics.
Mary Therese Kurkalang, the marketing and registration head for India Design Forum said, "Design matters. And so, we would be happy to reach out to as many art and design related professionals, practitioners, teachers, students... in Mumbai (and elsewhere) to inform and invite participation."
The forum starts with a design week – a week long schedule of cutting edge design exhibitions, workshops and curated events in venues across Mumbai, open to public. The design forum- a private registration only program features two days of talks by highly acclaimed design experts from around India and the rest of the world.
The India Design Forum is created and conceptualised by the Coimbatore Centre for Contemporary Arts (CoCCA).
