IndiaCorr 2019: Pune-based Arofine Polymers presents Arobond 657

Bhosari, Pune-based Arofine Polymers showcased Arobond 657, a ready-to-use emulsion for side pasting of corrugated boxes, during SinoCorrugated-IndiaCorr Expo 2019, held at India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida, from 5 to 7 September 2019. Especially designed to provide quick grab due to its fast pulp penetration, Arobond 657 can be used on high speed machines (such as Emba) using nozzle application.

With regards to water-based synthetic adhesives Arofine Polymers supplies to the corrugation industry, Joshi said, the biggest change the company is seeing is the increase in the speed of operation with arrival of new machines. “Be it side pasting or flute lamination, the machines are getting faster and faster, thereby reducing the overall process time,” he said.

Arofine believes that corrugation packaging is the next big market in India. “It is the fastest-growing segment of our business portfolio,” Joshi said.
