IndiaCorr Expo 2017 ends on a high note
IndiaCorr Expo, the exhibition dedicated the corrugation industry, took place from 14 to 16 September 2017 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. It was the fifth edition of the exhibition, along with India Folding Carton 2017 and the ICCMA (Indian Corrugated Case Manufacturers’ Association) Congress 2017.

More than 250 exhibitors participated in the exhibition, including 115 Indian exhibitors. More than 50 international participants debuted in the exhibition. The corrugation exhibition witnessed more than 54 new product launches.
Meanwhile, the ICCMA Congress was attended by more than 350 delegates. The theme of ICCMA Congress 2017 was ‘Managing transition – myths and reality’.
Paper corrugation; die-cutting; automatic corrugated board-making; sheet-cutting; sheet pasting and pressing; cutting and creasing; corrugation box stitching; die-punching; flexo printing; honey comb; lamination; slitting and rewinding and rigid box manufacturing machines were on display at the exhibition.
Anuj Mathur, managing director, Reed Manch Exhibitions, the organiser of the event, said, “IndiaCorr Expo 2017 was the largest since its inception. More than 250 Indian and overseas companies participated. Almost 35% of the exhibitors were from abroad, coming from China, Taiwan, USA, Hong Kong, Spain, Germany, Japan, UK, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Korea, UAE and Singapore.”
Kirit Modi, president, ICCMA, said the growing Indian economy and a flourishing organised retail have raised the expectations that consumption of corrugated packaging will continue to expand. The booming eCommerce has created new avenues for corrugated boxes – since most of the online products use corrugated boxes for despatching the products.
