Indian firms sweep 29 awards at Fespa 2013

The tenth edition of Fespa 2013 awards which recognises excellence in screen printing and wide-format digital imaging production, saw Indian firms sweep 29 awards in various categories.

There were 20 categories which were divided into various sections covering screen printing, textiles, industrial and digital. In each category; gold, silver and bronze awards were awarded.

Ahmedabad-based Marvel Graphic Studio bagged one each of gold and silver and three bronze awards across various categories like posters, calendars and fine art reproduction among others. The firm has also won the PrintWeek India Awards in the Fine Art Printer of the Year category for printing of art works twice in the year 2011 and 2012.

The other Indian firm which bagged two gold and one silver award is Mumbai-based Tarun Printing Works for special effects on t-shirts and other garments. Meanwhile, Spectrum Scan bagged two bronze awards.

Gautam Paper Udyog, Shakti Keypads, Unique labels, Varsha Transprint and Prayag Advertisers are some of the other print firms who won awards in various categories.

The recently concluded Fespa 2013 was held at at ExceL London Exhibition Centre, London from 25-29 June 2013. The event saw more than 310 exhibitors and was one of the biggest event in Fespa’s history since its formation in 1962.
