Indian Institute of Packaging to host conference on ‘Plastics in Packaging’
The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) announced a day-long national conference on ‘Plastics in Packaging’ to be held on 21 January 2017 at hotel The Leela, Mumbai.

Set up in 1966, IIP is a national apex body formed by the packaging and allied industries and the ministry of commerce, government of India with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. The Institute has its headquarters at Mumbai and branches located at Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai. In addition four more centres are to be made operational at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Guwahati, and Kakinada.
The conference is expected to cover the innovations taking place in the area of polymer raw materials, additives, processing machines and also end user perspective of plastics based packaging structures.
IIP is organising this conference in association with The All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) and will take place alongside 10th Plastivision India 2017 exhibition.
