Five top Indian printers bag Asian Print Awards

The annual Asian Print Awards held on 28 November, 2013 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia saw five Indian print firms bag metals across categories. The firms were Anaswara Offset, Jak Printers, Manipal Technlogies, Pragati Offset and Silverpoint Press.

Among the Indian winners, Hyderabad-based Pragati Offset, which bagged the PrintWeek India Printing Company of the Year 2013 earlier this year, brought home the highest number of awards.

Pragati Offset bagged seven awards which include a platinum sponsor award, one each of gold and silver and four bronze.

Harsha Paruchuri, director of Pragati Offset, who collected the awards, expressed, “I am happy to have been among the medals again this year. This is the 13th consecutive year that we have won gold at the Asian Print Awards. I’m also very happy that India has been a big winner with 17 awards over the course of the night.”

The Awards honoured accomplishment across 25 print and packaging categories, which were judged by a panel of 11 jury member from eclectic backgrounds and received entries from across the world.
