Indian screen printers shine at SGIA
Five Indian screen print firms have grabbed 17 medals and four honourable mentions at the 2016 edition of Golden Image Award competition organised by Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGAI).

The list of Indian winners includes screen printing specialists like Mumbai-based Spectrum Scan, PRS Permacel and Classic Stripes, Meerut-based Nageen Prakashan, and Pune-based Keetronics.
Spectrum Scan won gold for SIBEBE, Sprite decal, anchor - display, Bacardi - back lit display and wedding invitation card.
A regular winner at SGIA awards, PRS Permacel once again won three gold and one silver awards while Classic Stripes has bagged one gold, silver and bronze awards.
Meerut-based, Nageen Prakashan, the children book and poster publisher have won two silver awards, while Keetronics, the company who knows how printed electronics can make big in India has won a bronze award.
At the SGIA competition, the entries are evaluated and judged during the Expo and the winners are honoured with SGIA's People's Choice Award, Best of Show-Garment, Best of Show-Graphic, Best of Show-Digital, and Best in Show-Digital Creativity.
The SGIA Expo 2016 is scheduled from 14 to 16 September in Las Vegas. The three-day show will showcase various technologies and applications in the print industry.
