InnoPack F&B conference on 5-6 April
The sixth edition of UBM’s InnoPack F&B conference is slated for 5-6 April 2018. The food and beverage industry conference has a special focus on packaging and over 200 professionals are expected to attend the event.

Emphasising on the significance of the conference, UBM states that India ranks fifth in the packaged food industry globally with a worth of USD 39.7 billion and is expected to reach USD 65.41 billion by 2020.
On the agenda are industry experts sharing their experiences and case-studies on packaging relating to global trends, plastic waste management, maintaining food quality, labelling and printing, sustainability and much more.
Palanixchamy Muthumaran of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will talk about packaging trends for food and beverage industry. Kannan Iyengar of Mars will present the emerging trends in 3D printing and innovations for packaging designs.
The conference will also see participation from Prabodh Halde of Marico, Sukhdev Saini of General Mills, Alok Dhawan of CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Rajeshwar Matche CFTRI, Deepak Mittal of Mother Dairy, Krishna Joshi of ITC Limited Foods Division and Sandeep Gupta of Standard Review Group, Nutraceuticals (FSSAI).
Some of the other topics covered at the conference are interpretation and implementation of regulatory expectations in F&B Packaging (FSSAI, FDA & EMEA), protecting environment by adopting sustainable packaging, maintaining food safety, security and quality through right way of packaging, recent innovations in F&B packaging, methods of plastic waste management in F&B packaging, etc.
In a bid to enhance the networking at the conference, the organisers have planned interactive initiatives such as world cafe, F&B knowledge quiz, speed geeking and speed networking.
