The announcement was made during the recent Great Place to Work India awards ceremony, at The Westin Powai Lake, Mumbai. The event celebrated the top 100 organisations excelling in workplace culture, featuring industry giants such as Coca-Cola India, RadioCity, the Amara Raja group and Symphony, among others.

“This achievement marks a historic milestone as Insight is perhaps the first organisation in the Indian printing industry to secure a position in the top 50, instilling pride within the entire print community,” said Ajay Aggarwal, managing director and CEO of Insight Print Communications.

Founded in 1991, Insight Print Communications recently celebrated its 33rd anniversary. Over the past three decades, the company has expanded from a modest team of 13 employees in a single office to a workforce of 250 employees across 12 offices and nine locations throughout India, serving over 5,000 customers across various segments.

To ensure a comprehensive evaluation of India's great mid-size workplaces, the company utilised a rigorous assessment process, which included a trust index survey and a culture audit. The employee feedback in the form of trust index, accounting for 75% of the evaluation, measured the quality of employee experience, while the culture audit (25%) assessed the strength of leadership, values, and programs that shape employee journeys. “The remarkable achievements are a testament to the winning unwavering commitment to building and nurturing exceptional workplace cultures, a crucial element in today's dynamic and competitive business environment,” said Balbir Singh, CEO of Great Place To Work India.

Insight has been a major player in the pre-press segment with Scitex imagesetters and high-end scanners, later with Kodak CTPs. The company was also Komori’s representative in India before the Japanese press manufacturer marked its direct presence in 2018. Today, Insight represents the HP Latex range of wide-format presses for the signage industry and the Mimaki range of textile printers, boasting over 3,000 installations. Recently, Insight has also added Fujifilm POD solutions to its portfolio.

"I firmly believe that a shared belief and a clear vision motivates people to align as a team and contribute their best. Added to that an atmosphere of trust, respect, and a sense of purpose contributes to creating a healthy work environment,” said Aggarwal. “This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to our collective effort, and we owe it all to our dedicated Insightians. This milestone is theirs to celebrate."
