George Mathews, director, Insight Communications, said, “In last six months we have booked orders for eight-printing presses consisting more than 40 units. Out of eight booked printing presses, two have been booked by Hyderabad-based Pragati Offset. Both the booked printing presses are seven-colour, non UV printing and equipped with anilox coater. More satisfied customers create more opportunities for us and thus we are able to get orders from states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Karnataka.”

The orders were made by printing facilities which operate in segments such as commercial, packaging, books printers and government printing facilities. The order consists of an Enthrone 26 inch and 29 inch, Komori’s latest GL 40 inch, 25 inch and 37 inch, Lithrone 29 inch with coater and the innovative UV technology from Komori - the HUV.

Sangam Khanna, director, Insight Communications, heads Komori division, said, " The trend of single diameter machines is getting over as it’s the technology of the 70s and 80s. The customers need more versatile machines to cater to the growing demands of markets in semi commercial verticals.”

“Our first job was to ensure that we set up a strong support network in South to ensure that the existing Komori customers do not get affected by the change - and I am glad to say that we have been able to satisfy each and every customer. We have created two customer support centres, one at Bengaluru and the other at Mumbai. We will also create a strong service network in all major cities of the country and will be launching services for pre-owned printing presses with AMCs and preventive maintenance packages and are recruiting engineers in electrical , mechanical and print application specialists all over India," concluded Khanna.
