Insight Communications has tied up with the Japan-based Mimaki Engineering to promote the TS300P-1800 and SIJ-320UV at the Media Expo, 2016, held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.
Ajay Aggarwal, managing director and CEO of Insight Communication said, “It’s bigger than the last edition Media Expo, which was held in Mumbai. We are promoting Mimaki machines for the textile industry and with team Media Infotech, we plan to sell together more machines and add machines in our portfolio.”
“Digital is getting popular because the customers do more of short run jobs. Women garments are getting more popular, and home furnishing is doing well. The sportswear fluorescent inks are very important and helps to locate the colours in the dark,” added Aggarwal.
Mimaki has tied up with Insight Communications for TS models, which are the sublimation machines and Insight will also be promoting the UV printers.
Tomohiro Ikeda, managing director, Mimaki Engineering said, “We are expecting to auto-process through Insight Communication for the textile printer industry. In India, the pollution needs to be reduced by the industrial textile. In the traditional way, they are making so much pollution of water. If they change from the traditional way to the digital way, it can reduce the pollution as well and make quick solutions for the fabric and the textile. We see the future for digital textile is increasing.”
