Yogesh Mehra, managing partner, Inspackt Packaging, said, “We were looking for an in-house printing solution when team Monotech approached us.”

The Rioch Pro C7200x is an 11-colour printing press. The extended colour gamut includes neon yellow, neon pink, gold, silver, invisible red, clear varnish and white with CMYK. It has three paper feeders too.

Mehra has been in the industry since 1997. After working with leading printing and packaging companies for 25 years, he decided to go on his own and joined hands with Rahul Dev and formed Inspackt Packaging in March 2019.

Inspackt manufactures corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, mono cartons and provides promotional packaging solutions. Along with the Ricoh kit, the company has also installed a fully-loaded Jing Wei sample maker, supplied by TechNova.

On the rising demand for short-run jobs, Mehra said, “India is a country of start-ups, and new start-ups are coming. We understood the need of the market. A new generation of entrepreneurs have entered the market and most packaging companies are not focusing on that segment,” he said.

The company has also developed its own stationery which will be launching during India Gift Expo. The company is 100% into packaging. It printed more than one lakh sheets on the machine in the first one month.

“Innovation is our USP. We have a vision to expand our arms into multiple segments. We are printing promotional materials related to packaging and converting that as well,” he said.

With all facilities in-house, the company is now focusing on automation. With a team of 65 people, the company made a Revenue of Rs 11.5-crore last year. It is targeting Rs 20-crore turnover this year.

Akash Kumar, marketing lead, Monotech Systems, said, “Short-run packaging is the future, and digital is the best technology for this. We are happy to see that Inspackt is using the 11-colour gamut and creating fantastic jobs such as sweets boxes, gifting and wrapping material, gift hampers, exclusive stationery and many more on the Ricoh digital printing press. We are happy to see the utiliisation of the machine at different levels.”
