In-Store Asia 2019 opens on 14 March

The 12th edition of In-Store Asia (ISA) in partnership with with EuroShop, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the world’s leading retail fair for all investment needs in the retail sector, is set to open tomorrow at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.

The three day show - from 14-16 March - is expected to have 7500+ visitors and 150+ exhibitors from over six countries. The show is organised by Messe Dusseldorf India, a fully owned subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the world’s leading trade fair organiser and exhibitions service provider. 

Thomas Schlitt, the managing director, Messe Düsseldorf India, said, “Worldwide disruptive technologies are shaping the future of retail and India is no exception. Spread over 12,000 sqm of exhibit space, In-Store Asia Expo, 2019, India’s largest Retail Expo, will see participation from 150+ exhibitors and international brands showcasing latest products and innovations in POP Display, Shopper Marketing, Retail technology, Signage & Digital Printers graphics solution providers, Retail Design, VM& Props, Lighting, Fixture, Material & Equipment etc.

Vasant Jante, founder and director, VJ Media Works shared with PrintWeek India that "In India, retail has been less about consumers and radical technology innovation, and more about the bottomline. However, a silent revolution is fructifying." He added, "

In-Store Asia 2019 will feature an Expo plus a convention, which shall discuss topics related to the Indian retail industry as well as the VM&RD Awards, which recognises talent in retail design and visual merchandising."

The 11th edition of VM&RD Retail Design Awards is going to be one of the key attractions at in-store Asia 2019. VM Challenge, a one-of-a-kind live window display contest in India is scheduled on 15th March alongside the event for the visual merchandising community. The contest will witness participation of top visual merchandisers from leading brands and companies creating innovative windows within a time frame of 60 minutes from an on-the-spot brief. 

 Who's who at ISA Convention

In-Store Asia Convention 2019 will have key sessions, which will be addressed and discussed by senior retail professionals from India and overseas. Jante stated the sessions include, "some of the iconic retail brands across categories like Macy’s Inc, Bestseller, Croma, Moschino, Good Earth, Jockey and many more." From than 200 industry veterans, retail experts, designers and policy makers from both domestic and international markets will participate at the ISA Convention. These include:
