The star product at VD Pop’s stall was an interactive wall unit display designed for Park Avenue men’s grooming.
Kulbushan Chadha, head operations (UV screen), VD Pop & Display, said, “This exclusively designed interactive unit provides a display of multiple products that can actively highlight the product that the customer has picked up from the shelf. As soon as the product is picked, it triggers a video to be played about the product and it also indicates the particular shelf where the product is placed.”
In addition, the unit comprised of a unique audio system where only the person standing in front of the unit can hear the audio, without any sort of distractive sounds. This feature was implemented by aligning and directing sound waves pertaining to the audio in one single direction.
The other highlight of VD Pop’s stall was the video header/ shelf strip, which can be programmed from a remote distance as and when required. The strip is feasible to be operated using media such as Wi-Fi, pen drive, and Bluetooth, among others.
“The branding wall can be scheduled to change on any particular day, and the video header can be scheduled much earlier so that it delivers at the desired date and time,” added Chadha.
VD Pop & Display operates its production and non-production facilities through its 1,00,000-sq/ft plant in Vasai.
Haji Agwan, director, VD Pop & Display, said, “The design and manufacturing of all the products displayed at In-Store Asia 2019 have been done in-house.”
