Vaibhav Kothari, who heads business development at Integrity, said, “Being a new entrant in the packaging space, we wanted to be confident about our products. The quality and precision achieved on the Bobst folder-gluer assures us that we are ready to accept long-run and premium jobs for big brands as well as export market.”
A job-worker turned packaging converter, Integrity is run by Kothari and his brother, Vishal. They ventured into packaging in December 2012 with the installation of a secondhand five-colour Heidelberg SM 74 and manual finishing operations.
“We started as a job-worker doing commercial print jobs in 2009. Later, we realised that we want to be in a product-based segment and not in the price-based commercial printing segment. Hence we forayed into packaging, which seems to have a bright future,” said Kothari.
With the recent installation, Integrity has automated finishing operations producing more than 1.5-lakh cartons per day. “We aspire to reach a target of one crore cartons per month by June 2014,” added Kothari.
“We have also set up a quality control lab and a system-driven approach on the shopfloor to ensure every carton is of right quality,” said Vishal.
The Kothari brothers run Integrity’s nifty operations from five galas in Shah and Nahar, covering approximately 4000 sq/ft area and employ 35 people.
