Intel plans six print shows in 2017

It will be a busy 2017 for Intel Trade Fairs & Expositions. According to Ashok Neelkant, managing director and industry veteran, the Mumbai and Chennai-based group shall host six trade events next year. Of this, Showcase which is an associate company is the co-organiser of the first edition of Print Miracle Expo.

According to Neelkant, "Intelpack-2017 in September in Mumbai, now in its’ 15th edition and 27th year, has been delivering business and business contacts since 1990." In 2017, the show is co-located with Foodtek 2017, PharmaPack 2017 and SupplyChain Expo 2017. The aim is to showcase technology in packaging, processing and supply chain management, thus delivering value to both exhibitors and trade visitors. Neelkant expects, "Over 250 exhibitors to present solutions in 12,000 sq/mtrs space and having a footfall of 10,000 attendees."

Neelkant said, "Print Miracle Expo 2017 in April will be the second edition of the show organised in one of the most lucrative Indian print markets in Kochi." The Kerala Master Printers Association (KMPA) has set up the KMPA Print Miracles Awards to be given away during the show. In addition, KMPA hosts a conference.

The eighth edition of PrintExpo held between 12 and 14 August 2016 in Chennai recorded total visitors of 11,739 and generated business worth over Rs 150 crore, according to Neelkant.
