Touted as the most business-friendly exhibition of India, the organisers said, the exhibition of printing machines and materials is going to be simple and small, making it easier for buyers and sellers.

The organisers said the main aim of the exhibition is to provide the knowledge about technical innovations and advancements in the field to the printers from more than 51 cities of the region. The exhibition will also help printers do so in their own languages, near their place of work.

Promotions for the exhibition were undertaken through the Print Yatra organised by the OPA, where teams visited more than 60 cities in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Chandigarh, covering a distance of about 6,800 km. According to organisers, printers in the region are eagerly waiting for the trade show.

North India has 33% of the total market share of the Indian print industry, and according to reports, at 12.7%, has the highest growth rate in India. States like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan are leading the charge due to the industry friendly policies adopted by the states and the central government.

This is the reason, why, organisers said Ludhiana has been chosen as the venue for the exhibition. Ludhiana, the Manchester of India, is a fast developing industrial town. It is centrally located and is well connected to the entire region.

Big names from the printing and converting industries will showcase the latest in machine, material and system. Organisers said at the InterPrint Expo, visitors will discover the best solutions for quality output, to reduce cost and increase productivity.
