IntraPac wins first runner-up at Exhibition Excellence Awards
IntraPac India Exhibition won the first runner-up organiser award in the top new show (B2B) category at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2024, hosted by Exhibition Showcase in Mumbai on 21 June.

The award was accepted by Prashant Vats, director of operations and legal, and Abhinav Kumar Singh, general manager, on behalf of IPAMA.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the IPAMA team.
IPAMA organised the inaugural edition of the IntraPac India at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida on 14-17 March 2024. Exclusively for the Indian packaging industry, the event featured participation from 175 companies and displayed the latest in machinery and equipment focused on cost-effectiveness and end-user suitability. To encourage participation from MSMEs, IPAMA kept space charges minimal, and many companies took advantage of branding opportunities provided by IPAMA.
The exhibition received an overwhelming response from exhibitors and business visitors, with a footfall of 13,065 attendees from various Indian cities.
Top brands represented among the visitors included Haldiram, Bikanervala, Dabur, Dr Oetker, DS Group, Godrej, ITC, Mother Dairy, Unilever, Nestle, Kellogg’s, MTR, JK Foods, Patanjali, Saint-Gobain, Bosch, and many more.
Exhibitors rated the event from good to excellent, with many expressing their desire to participate in future editions. Around 96% of exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of visitors, and 89% with the overall performance of IntraPac India, with 90% achieving their business development targets.
IntraPac India was supported by several leading institutions, including the Ministry of MSME, PIAI, ASPA, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as leading print and electronic media partners.
Preparations for the second edition of the IntraPac India Exhibition, scheduled for December 2025, have already begun. The final dates will be announced in due course.
The Indian packaging market is currently estimated at USD 84.37-billion and is expected to reach USD 142.56-billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 11.06% during the forecast period of 2024-2029. The demand for packaging in India is expanding rapidly, driven by growth in consumer markets, especially in processed food, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries, making packaging one of India’s fastest-growing sectors.
The Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) has been organising the PrintPack India exhibition since 1991, showcasing the machinery and products of its members from various states. Renowned for its meticulous organisation, IPAMA has received numerous awards from different institutions over the years.
