ITC PSPD comes on board as the sponsor for Innovative Printer of the Year Award

In a move towards contributing to the Indian print industry’s march towards international competitiveness and in nurturing talent, ITC Paperboard and Speciality Paper Division has announced its sponsorship for the category of PrintWeek India Innovative Printer of the Year 2013.

The Awards encourage continuous improvement and recognises those who create additional value.”

According to the company, ITC PSPD is India’s largest, technologically advanced and most eco-friendly paperboards and specialty paper manufacturer. PSPD has a capacity of close to 6.5 Lac ton through four world class manufacturing units, which are today all FSC certified.

The company has innovative solutions to meet a diverse cross-section of packaging and communication needs which have helped it carve a unique niche for itself.  In the endeavor to move up the value chain, ITC’s portfolio of products and services has consistently grown over the years.

ITC has recently announced that its Paperboards and Speciality Papers Division (PSPD) has successfully commissioned its next paperboard making plant, codenaming it PM-7, at its 300-acre unit in Bhadrachalam, which will produce 1-lakh tpa of two main grades - the folding box boards and barrier coated boards.

As in the previous four editions of PrintWeek India Awards, a select panel of jury comprising of print customers and experts will evaluate print entries in 25 categories.

The deadline for sending entries for the fourth edition of PrintWeek India Awards is 15, July 2013.
