Jak Printers score a hat-trick at AIFMP print awards
On 23 September 2011, Jak Printers won 25 awards at the sixth National Awards for Excellence in Print 2011 (NAEP) held in Bengaluru and organised by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) along with Karnataka State Printers' Association.

The 25 awards won by Jak included the best printer of the year making it a hat-trick for Jak Printers at NAEP and signifying the company's long tradition of excellence in print.
Operating with a slogan of "making a difference", the partners, proud winners and "print fanatics" Khushru Patel and Aspi Forbes have recognised Jak’s ingenuity to achieve success and feel that winning print awards at the national level for three years in a row is a testimonial to Jak’s ability to excel.
Apart from the best printer of the year Jak also received the S S Batra award for best poster of the year.
1,970 entries submitted by 127 Indian print firms created a record for the highest number of entries ever received for NAEP awards. Manoj Mehta, president of AIFMP said: "These awards are given to printers who have brought new ideas and a different approach to product development by working in tandem with their strength and expertise in print."
Printers from Mumbai won the maximum awards.
Notable among the big winners were Silverpoint Press with 18, Pragati Offset, CDC and Archana Advertising with 14, Prodon Enterprises with 11 awards, Manipal Technologies with 10 awards, King of Kings and Utility PrintPack (which also won the best packaging printer of the year) with nine awards and Srinivas Fine Arts with eight awards apart from winning the special awards for best bound book and Sudhir Gupta award for outstanding printing on indigenous paper.
Governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj, who was the guest of honour presented the awards. Also present on the occasion were MLA Vijaykumar and Vijaykumar Chopra, chairman and managing director of Punjab Kesari group. Bharawaj's "print media cannot be replaced" echoed in the auditorium to a round of applause from printers all over India.
