Jammu Printers Association honours AIFMP president Govind Bhargava

Jammu Printers Association organised a felicitation ceremony on 15 November 2012 at KC Orchid, KC Plaza, Residency Road, Jammu. The function was sponsored by IPAMA and Lucky Processor, Jalandhar. Govind Bhargava, president, All India Federation of Master Printers and Rajneesh Manooja, general secretary, AIFMP were honoured.

According to Atma Singh, general secretary, Jammu Printers Association, “Large number of members of Jammu Printers Association attended the function and it was a great enriching experience for them.” S S Slathia, Hon’ble minister of industries and commerce, J&K was the chief guest while Kuldip Verma, vice-chairman, OBC board was guest of honour.

K S Khurana, president, Indian Printing and Allied Machinery Association was the key speaker of the event and discussed about the upcoming 11th Print Pack Indian Exhibition being held in Noida from 23 to 28 February 2013. The event also saw S S Slathia along will other dignitaries released the third issue of JPA Reporter (official newsletter of Jammu Printers Association) and member’s telephone directory and the calendar of JPA for the year 2013 was also released.

Adarsh Pal Gupta, ex–president, was also felicitated for winning gold medal for excellence in printing awarded by AIFMP. Gupta also highlighted the problems faced by Indian printers. Hon’ble minister assured to address these problems and also urged printers to modernise and upgrade units with latest available technology.

The event was concluded by vote of thanks presented by S K Gupta, past president of JPA.
