“The lantern-shaped pop-up is inspired from one in every household. To add light to the lantern we used HP’s fluorescent inks that glow under UV light.”

It uses 300gsm Invercote Creato from Iggesund Paperboard, Sweden and printed by Silverpoint Press.

“Invercote is particularly suitable for this type of construction thanks to its tear resilience and ability to be folded multiple times without cracking,” pointed out Hema Java of Java Paper Group.

“In addition to the outstanding design and construction, we were able to add personalisation thanks to the power of digital printing,” added HP’s Naipal Singh.

The card is not laminated and hence is completely recyclable and bio-degradable.

“This innovative greeting card was to created to showcase that print is far from being dead. The surprise element of the card speaks of the value that prints and the look and feel a physical item can add,” said Hema Java.
