Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh-based Jico Life recently invested in a JWEI digital cutting device. The machine was supplied and installed by TechNova Imaging Systems.

Piyush Jindal of Jico Life said, “While shortlisting a post-press machine, I visited over a dozen expos, seminars, and factories. I ultimately chose JWEI because it is smart, labour-efficient, and perfectly suited to my production needs.”
He added, “TechNova played a crucial role in this. The company’s value-driven approach helped me finalise a JWEI model that wasn’t even launched in India at the time and had only been showcased at Drupa.

Jindal said at Jico, the company recognises the high demand for products in the digital post-press business. “While many players cater to these needs, there is a gap in educating consumers about how digital post-press businesses operate. We aim to address this by offering comprehensive solutions under one roof, simplifying the process for our customers.”

Jico was established in 2022, during the post-Covid era. The company had been working in the hospitality industry since 2019 under a different brand banner. Packaging was its niche. This led to the creation of Jico, catering specifically to the demand for short-run packaging.

Jico focuses on wall and ceiling acoustics and interior solutions, a category where its CNC machines excel. Additionally, it is developing NACPAC (a subsidiary of Jico), which will strengthen its expertise in packaging solutions. The company has a dedicated teams for production, designing and execution. “Every hand on deck is focused to bring their best foot forward and delivering client satisfaction,” Jindal said.

The company has in-house capabilities for large-format UV printing, screen printing, CNC routing, laser cutting, and solvent printing.

He said the demand for digital presses is increasing. Traditional methods like offset, lithography, and flexography require high volumes of production, whereas digital post-press machines effectively fill the gap for smaller quantities.

He said, “As a new-age enterprise with no legacy printing house endowment, we are building our processes step by step. One of these steps was successfully installing the post-press cutting device.”

He added, “Efficiency, measured by time and steps required to produce a product, has drastically improved since the installation of the digital cutting device. Customers are satisfied with the finish and delivery timelines, and so are we.”

Jindal said the company is on a promising path to scaling our business, thanks to our equipment choices. “We project achieving ROI sooner than expected. TechNova’s post-sales support has encouraged us to explore new possibilities and use advanced tools, as these machines feel like an adult version of toys.”
