JKOPA converges to discuss problems with the Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Office Bearers of J&K Offset Printers Association (JKOPA) arranged a meeting with the Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 26 August, 2013 at Chamber House, to discuss the problems faced by the printing community with regard to constant increases in prices of raw materials, labour costs and unfair trade practices.

The JKOPA, was represented by a team of office bearers namely Pankaj Sethi, president of JKOPA along with Harjinder Singh, senior vice president; Sharat Sharma, vice president; Rahul Mahajan, general secretary; Sanjay Soni, secretary; Satish Raina, joint secretary and Avnish Anand, finance secretary. Whereas The Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented by its president Y V Sharma along with other office bearers.
Y V Sharma welcomed the members of JKOPA and assured that he will strive towards attaining the rights of the printings community and extended his support to JKOPA. He along with his team also listened to some of work related issues raised by JKOPA. Arun Gupta, general secretary of Chamber of Commerce and Industry appealed to the member to provide a memorandum of demands which can be forwarded to the concerned departments.
Pankaj Sethi and Rahul Mahajan of KJOPA thanked all the office bearers of Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the assurance they gave and requested them to approach the Government of J&K for developing a Printing Hub for Jammu to save our dying industry. They concluded by appealed to their fellow printers to follow fair trade practices and to maintain decorum within their Association.
