Jodhpur’s Best Offset invests in Ricoh

Incorporated in 2016, Best Offset is known for being a provider of complete printing solutions under one roof. The pre-press portfolio of the company consists of a BasysPrint CTP digital imager for conventional offset plates and Fuji Violet CTP plate machine; and the line of offset presses in the facility includes Komori Lithrone 540, Heidelberg MOV, RMGT 760, and RYOBI 3304 HA; and the post-press division is equipped with a range of advanced finishing equipment folding machines and perfect binders. 

“With this versatile Ricoh digital production press, we are prepared to exploit the advanced features and competency of the machine to produce unconventional graphics which stand out amid the crowd,” Rehan Khan, director, Best Offset, said.

Khan added, “Our facility is equipped with almost all machines for offset, label and large-format printing. The AstroJet digital large-format printer in the portfolio is for vinyl printing for signage and display graphic applications as well as t-shirt and other garment prints. In addition to our capability to produce the entire gamut of applications, the newly installed Ricoh Pro C7200X has fuelled us to boost the digital printing power.”

The Ricoh Pro C7200X is a versatile digital press with the fifth colour printing capacity. 

Khan said, “This Ricoh digital press in our facility is a highly stable machine for premium quality print production at high speeds. It can run at a speed of up to 85-ppm and can print on a variety of substrates up to 360-gsm with the segment’s highest resolution of 2400x4800-dpi.” 

He added that this digital press has enhanced the print quality and creative art elements in Best Offset’s marketing materials, such as brochures, business cards, flyers and leaflets, and so on. 

With a team of 55 experienced printing and graphic designing professionals, Best Offset maintains the highest standards of printing, which combines affordability and quality in equal measures. 

“We do our best to satisfy our customers, who are predominantly from Rajasthan,” Khan said. 

He added that the Ricoh Pro C7200X has helped the company take up new commercial printing projects with special colour gamut and on a variety of substrates. When it comes to printing with special colours on heavily textured stocks, Khan said the credit must also go to Monotech Systems, which not only delivered the Ricoh Pro C7200X but also provided the support and guidance to utilise the press efficiently and cost-effectively.
