K show unrolled on 19 October

The K-2022 show, scheduled between 19-26 of October 2022 is back at Dusseldorf, Germany. After two years of an unwilling pause due to the pandemic, the packaging industry professionals from all over the world will be presented with future perspectives and solutions. With K 2022 looming ahead, the plastics and rubber industry is gearing up for the highpoint of the sector's calendar: the triennial, completely sold out, eight-day marathon trade show in Düsseldorf.

Approximately 3,000 exhibitors from 61 countries will occupy Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre during K 2022. They will showcase machinery and equipment, raw materials and auxiliaries as well as semi-finished products, technical components and reinforced plastic products.

Erhard Wienkamp, the managing director at Messe Düsseldorf said, "K at Düsseldorf is not only the performance barometer for the industry and its global marketplace for innovations, but also provides orientation, sustainable economic impetus and forward-looking trends as well as concrete approaches to solutions."

Suppliers from Europe, especially from Germany, Italy, Austria, Turkey, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France will be well represented again this year, but also from the USA. At the same time, K reflects the changes affecting the global market: the number and presentation areas of companies from Asia have remained at a constant high for several years now. This includes exhibitors from China, Taiwan, India, South Korea and Japan.  
K in Düsseldorf addresses the challenges of the plastic industry. Subjects such as sustainability, resource savings, circular economy and digitalisation, which gathered momentum at K 2019, will also feature among the “hot tickets” of  the trade fair at both the exhibitors’ stands and side events.
