Kaeser Compressors display its new fluid-cooled compressors
Pune-based Kaeser Compressors (India), along with other subsidiaries of the parent company Kaeser Kompressoren, is displaying its recently released fluid-cooled CSD and CSDX rotary screw CSD and CSDX compressors in Hall 13, Stand C 50 at Drupa.

Kaeser claims that these fluid-cooled rotary screw compressors combine high performance and reliability with low energy consumption and compact design.
With air capacities ranging from 8.3 to 16.1 cubic metres per minute at 8.5 bar and motor ratings of 45 to 90 kW, the CSD and CSDX units feature a large, low speed Sigma Profile airend equipped with flow-optimised rotors. In combination with additional optimisation measures, such as the minimisation of internal pressure losses, Kaeser claims that the design enables specific power to be reduced by between 3 -6% compared with previous models.
Kaeser rotary screw airends are powered by IE3 drive motors and its 1:1 drive design reduces the transmission losses associated with gear or V-belt driven systems.
Moreover, switching differentials can be controlled even more tightly thanks to a precision electronic pressure sensor, which achieves further energy savings. Optional versions featuring refrigeration dryer modules and variable speed control are also available.
