The Pro Cut 76 is 600x760mm in size and is available with optional hot foil embossing feature.

In addition, a new universal form was developed for the new stamping system. It fits all sizes of tooling up to the full stamping format, which is intended to simplify setup of jobs. According to the manufacturer, changeover from hot foil embossing jobs to stamping jobs can now be completed in under 10 minutes.

Another highlight at the Kama booth is a newly developed automated indexer for the company’s smaller die-cutter model, the Pro Cut 53. During production, this solution detects inaccuracies in the sheet length and corrects the individual sheets automatically with a printer’s imprint to an accuracy of 0.1mm. At the HP Indigo’s stand, the Pro Cut 53 auto-indexer can be seen in operation on an HP Indigo 5600 digital press.

In addition to its classic stamping technology, Kama is also displaying the folding and gluing system Pro Fold 74 with several new components and tools, including a pre-folder unit, a cold-gluing system and a long pressing station for the fabrication of folded boxes with lengthwise seam and self-closing base.

Another innovation for the Pro Fold 74 is a creasing, cutting, and perforating system. The integrated module is suitable for the creasing and folding of greetings cards and blanks, to cut and glue displays, and to perforate response cards. The firm added that the new components can be retrofitted on existing machines.
