Kamal Chopra elected as 68th president of AIFMP

The AIFMP is the apex body of more than 2.5-lakh printers in the country, employing around 15-lakh people directly and 10-lakh people indirectly. Established in 1953, AIFMP draws its strength from 83 regional associations spread all over the country who are its affiliates.

Kamal Chopra is a gold medallist in printing technology from NRIPT, Allahabad. He is an honorary professor at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (BIGC), China; adjunct professor, MC National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal and visiting professor/ fellow, department of printing, Dr BR Ambedkar Marathwara University, Aurangabad.

Chopra is the member of academic council and board of studies in BTech Printing at GJ University of Science & Technology, Hisar. He is an examiner for graduate and post-graduate courses in printing of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and taught technical writing to the students of MBA and Journalism at PAU.

He is on the printing press advisory committee of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar and Punjabi University, Patiala. He was also a member of the publication committee of the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.

Chopra participated in various national and international seminars and exhibitions on printing. He is frequently invited as a judge to the designing and art competitions/ exhibitions being organised by various schools and colleges.
