Established in 1991, Kamala Printing Press, which was incorporated as a private limited company in 2012, offers integrated print solutions to print buyers across all domains and corporations.

The company’s shopfloor boasts four offset presses, CTP, a complete finishing unit, including Konica Minolta presses and a Maxima die-punching device. The company works from its 30,000-sqft facility with 50 employees. Its customers include schools, colleges, bakeries, sweet shops, and corporates.

On the reasons why the company decided to purchase the Duplo DDC-810, Anjani Kumar Singh of Kamala Printing Press said that the machine is easy to operate and it offers high print quality.

“With this machine, you can achieve job switchovers within a minute for a variety of jobs,” he said, adding, “We have been associated with TechNova since 2010, and we are happy with the services the company offers,” Singh said.

Singh said the company decided to invest in the spot UV and foil solution to be relevant to the current market trends. “It’s important that you run shoulder-to-shoulder. As I see the industry moving, it’s already inclined towards digital. The North Indian market has good potential for print embellishment jobs. It's growing tremendously,” he added.

The company specialises in corporate gifting, wedding cards and sweet boxes.

“The training and installation process was smooth and fast. We are satisfied with the services and the after-sales product support. We have several products from TechNova and we keep associating with the company because of its relentless service support,” Singh said.

On choosing the JWEI LST03II 0806RM DCT, Singh said, “We wanted to have an in-house finishing setup. JWEI had that answer to our cutting needs as this is die-less cutting enhanced with JWEI’s technology expertise.”

He added, “The digital cutting table has given us the freedom to accept all kinds of packaging jobs for prototyping and short batch production. The triple pass mode has helped us multiply our production requirements.”

Singh said that buying the Duplo DDC810 and the JWEI LST series from TechNova has helped it to create print products that are attractive to end customers.

The DDC-810 digital spot UV coater is a compact and affordable solution which offers printers the capability to enhance their images with a layer of texture and depth utilising inkjet technology. It adds value to the print products with an eye-catching layer of spot UV embellishment that customers can touch and feel.

This works on Piezoelectric DOD inkjet technology with a 600x600-dpi resolution inkjet head from Kyocera assisted by UV lamp curing technology. This device applies layers of textures and depths on UV spots with high gloss varnish.

The JWEI LST03II 0806 digital cutting table is a flatbed cutter for cutting through, half-kiss cutting, creasing, and V-grooving for applications like packaging boxes, premium luxurious packaging, stickers, labels, decals, folding cartons tags, cards, etc. The JWEI LST03II-0806-RM cardboard cutting machine provides a fully automatic intelligent solution for cutting cardboard, self-adhesive, PVC, PP plate sheet, greyboard, E/F-flute, corrugated board, KT board, etc.
