Kanwardeep Sharma named packaging coordinator at HPCBMA
The Himachal Pradesh Corrugated Box Manufacturing Association (HPCBMA) has appointed Kanwardeep Sharma as its packaging academic coordinator.

Sharma has been working as executive officer (packaging technology) in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for the last 15 years.
In his new role, Sharma will work towards establishing the relationship between packaging academic institutes and printing and packaging associations, such as Offset Printers’ Association, All India Federation of Master Printers, Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India and Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association.
Sharma is also one of the resource persons in the area of export packaging for the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises research institutes of Karnal and Solan. He is also the North Zone coordinator of Print Olympiad 2022.
Kanwardeep Sharma has been organising seminars, conferences, symposiums and workshops in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Corrugated Box Manufacturing Association in the area of packaging for the last 10 years.
Keeping in view the working experience, expertise and dedication, the executive body of the association has given Sharma the responsibility to develop the relations between the association and packaging academic institutes.
Surinder Jain, president, HPCBMA, said the academic and industrial relations play a vital role in the growth and progress of any field.
Rajiv Gulati, senior vice-president, HPCBMA, said Sharma will work as an interface for the association and the academic institutes.
Neeraj Kumar, director, Fortuner Packaging, Baddi said such a significant step is the need of hour for the development of the industry.
Prof Bindu Sharma, director, IMC&MT, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra said the responsibility given to Sharma is a matter of pride for the university.
