Karnataka Textbook Society invites tenders for textbooks

The Department of Public Instruction Karnataka Text Book Society has invited tenders to print and supply about 490 lakhs of textbook from classes 1 to 9 in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2015-16.

There are in all 285 titles of textbooks and workbooks to be printed. The job has been classified into two sections schedule A and Schedule B containing total of 61 packages for bidding.

Schedule A

Packages from 1-36

Containing four colour textbooks and single colour textbooks in size of 1/4 crown

(Total 36 packages)

EMD prescribed - Rs 6 lakhs

Schedule B

Packages from 37-61

Containing single colour and four colour textbooks and workbooks in size of ¼ crown

(Total 25 packages)

EMD prescribed- Rs 3 lakhs

Interested printers can submit their tender until 7 October, 2014 before 5 pm. Technical bids will be opened online on 10 October 2014 at 11 am through the e-procurement portal.
