Kaveri invests in Enthrone to meet the increasing production demand

Kaveri Print Process, a commercial and book printing firm, has added a new Komori Enthrone printing press to its Patparganj facility. Komori Enthrone 429 has supplied by Komori’s Indian representative Insight Communication and Print Solutions.

Atul Goel, directors, Kaveri Print Process, said, "It is a new experience for us. Earlier we used to work on pre-owned presses. We opted for a new Komori press to meet the increasing demand of our work. We have been running the press round-the-clock since the installation and quiet satisfied with the performance. The number of short-run jobs has increased and we find this machine is suitable for our requirement.”

The three-decade-old print firm was established by both the brothers (Atul and Anuj) as a single-colour unit and has gradually expanded its printing plants in the Patparganj industrial area in New Delhi and Noida (NCR).

Kaveri, books and commercial printer works for many books publishers including one of Asia’s biggest academic books publishers, S Chand. The printing facility of the company consists of 30-printing units including eight units of 19x26, five of 20x29, four of 20x30  five of 28x40 and one eight colour Perfector KBA of 28x40 size.

An in-house book binding and finishing department was also equipped and upgraded with multiple post press equipment.

On the future plans, Anuj Goel said, “We are planning to add another eight-colour KBA printing press and a CTP in our Noida-based plant.”

The family-owned business is run by Atul and Anuj Goel along with their sons Ankit and Tuneer. All four wear multiple hats to ensure smooth production.

Ankit, the second generation of the family-owned business indicates that Kaveri may diversify into packaging in near future since he sees ample growth in the segment.
