The Kodak Proofing Week in March kicked-off with a presentation by Vidhu Gautam, the product manager from APR, about colour management - at the three-day Colour Conference which was organised by Graphic Arts Technology and Education (GATE). There were more than 100 delegates who attended the conference.
Then there was the 60 sq metres Kodak booth at Labeltech 2010 which was held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The company chose to showcase the Approval NX Digital Color Imaging System and a range of Kodak packaging colour Donors. Kodak officials emphasised the importance of producing colour-accurate contract proofs and packaging mock-ups. There were samples which highlighted how to achieve precise colour for the approved packaging design and the final printed package.
The booth also showcased the Epson 9000 printer which complemented Kodak Matchprint's Virtual Proofing technology.
Kodak concluded its Proofing Week with an evening for 20-25 of its key customers. Vidhu Gautam made an in-depth presentation which was followed by interaction with the customers.
