Kodak organises a conference to promote Unified Workflow Solutions

 The UWS include Prinergy workflow 6, Preps imposition software 7, ColorFlow software 2, Insite pre-press portal and i-pad application 6.5. Among these, Insite pre-press portal and i-pad application 6.5 has been released and is available in the market.

According to Kodak, the unified workflow solution offers increased automation and integration of systems so as to enable the printer to encounter the increasing price pressure and demand for faster turnarounds and short runs.

Arjen van der Meulen, director-product management at Kodak discussed the future of workflow. “It is necessary to understand the features and capabilities that the customers require and the functionalities for the automation of imposition, colour management, screening etc,” said, Meulen.

He further added, “Efficiency of the software increases when we integrate our software across both Kodak and third-party solutions. We need to ensure that our software keep pace with the advances in technology.”

The conference featured the developments in packaging workflow, iPad mobility solutions and Prinergy workflow 6. As a part of promotion, Kodak has announced discounts on the prices of the Unified Workflow Solutions.
