Kodak signs four Nexpress SX 3300 deals with Kaydee Color Lab

Kodak has signed a deal with Lucknow-based Kaydee Color Lab for purchase of four Nexpress SX 3300 photo with the NexGlosser and 36 inch sheet feeder. The announcement was made at its stall on the day one.

The deal was signed by Captain Rajendra Agarwal of Kaydee Color Lab, along with Lois Lebegue, Oscar Planas, Bhalchandra Nikumb of Kodak.

Captain Rajendra Agarwal of Kaydee Color Lab, said, “We would like to expand our photo and commercial printing business to pan India and Kodak being the pioneer in digital photo printing business with proven technology, we opted Kodak printing technology. The Nexpress platform is upgradeable to take up new features launched in future and this is the key reason for us to invest in Kodak technology. ”

The first Kodak Nexpress SX 3300 photo press will be installed and will be in production in Surat by third week of March. The other three presses will be strategically located.

 According to Agarwal, the first location is finalised and will be up for production and in the second phase we will be announcing the other three locations.

 Kaydee Color Lab has invested in approximately Rs 4-crore in each setup which includes, press, finishing equipment, land and working space. Currently, Kaydee deals with more than 12,000 studios and has more than 2,000 dealers with 21 collection centres.

 Kaydee Color Lab which started photo printing business in 1996, invested in first digital photo imaging machine from Frontier in 2003. In 2010, the firm invested in HP Indigo 5500 and catered the North. To keep up the pace with the growing photo printing business Kaydee Color Lab has opted for Kodak Nexpress presses.

 Kodak Nexpress SX3300 photo press is capable of producing output like dimensional printing, watermarking, protection coating, glossing, gold, light black, red fluorescent inks and matt printing.
