Kolhapur hosts Romancing Print of West
The AIFMP flagship event, Romancing Print of West, was held at Hotel Fern in Kolkapur on 21 January. The event was organised by the Kolhapur Zilla Mudrak Sangh team headed by Sanjay Thorwat, president, and his team of directors. More than 200 printers from Kolkapur and neighbouring towns, such as Ichalkaranji, Satara, Sangli, Ahmednagar and Karad attended the event.

Dhanajay Mahadik, member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, inaugurated the function and delivered a mesmerising speech.
In his welcome address, Thorwat thanked AIFMP for allowing the Kolhapur Zilla Mudrak Sangh to host such an event.
The welcome address was followed by a speech by Prakash Canser, vice-president, West (AIFMP), who explained the reason and meaning for organising Romancing Print in tier-II and III cities.
This was followed by a presentation from Parmeshwar Patidar, director of Indas Analytics on print process automation. This was followed by a presentation from Dr Anjan Kumar Baral on press standardisation.
The last session was a talk by Tushar Dhote, chairman, Pamex 2024, on the printing trends in contemporary print and packaging and how one can improve productivity and profitability by adopting small improvements in the present workflow on the shop floor.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by Abhijeet Padwale, vice-president of the Kolhapur Zilla Mudrak Sangh.
