Sunrise Media has already been running Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C1060 and was quite satisfied with the print quality as well as the brand’s overall service delivery. “Our favourable impression of the brand was further influenced by the strong customer reception we witnessed at the product launch of the AccurioPress 6100,” Bhura said. “After the event, we had a discussion with the sales team about a heavy-duty machine and eventually zeroed in on the AccurioPress 6085. We were impressed by its ability to handle multiple media and a wide gsm range while delivering consistent print speeds.”

The company also owns a HP Indigo 3500 and an HP Latex, apart from a host of binding and outdoor media solutions.

Sunrise Media started out as a film production company, but have substantially diversified its business operations in the last two decades. “At present, we are catering to the imaging and branding requirements of corporate organisations through our end-to-end indoor branding and outdoor printing solutions. Our clientele includes several elite corporate businesses,” Bhura said.

He added that the company’s production runs depend a lot on the client demand and seasonality. “On an average, we deliver around 4 lakh A3 digital impressions per month,” he said.

According to Bhura, the Konica Minolta engines have been reliable so far. “This increased reliability decreases the overall downtime, which in turn optimises our operations and helps us in driving better productivity, output, and revenue. What also makes these machines such an attractive proposition is their transparent pricing with no hidden costs. The service delivery till date has also been world class, and the response time is quite fast. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our investment in a Konica Minolta machine,” he added.

Starting out as a film production company in 1996, Sunrise Media has produced more than 2,000 episodes for various regional channels. It has also produced 511 episodes of Shri Ramakrishna, a first-of-its-kind TV show in Eastern India and one of the biggest TV serials in the region. “Over the years, we have successfully identified emerging market trends to expand our area of expertise and capitalise on lucrative business opportunities in domains such as print,” Bhura explained.

In the printing domain, Sunrise Media helps its customers enhance their corporate image and branding. “Through our offices in Kolkata and Delhi, we offer end-to-end solutions in indoor branding and outdoor printing. We are committed to delivering superlative services and customer satisfaction to our clients,” he added.

This dedicated focus has won Sunrise Media multiple awards and recognitions. These include HP Recommended Print Service Provider Certificate; HP Digital Print Awards (Asia Pacific and Japan) 2011 and the Silver Award in POP Advertising; and HP Award for Innovative Application in 2009, among others.

The company currently has three units in Kolkata, and one unit each in Delhi and Mumbai. “Our primary objective, at present, is to consolidate our digital business and expand our outdoor branding portfolio. Any expansion – be it in terms of geographical footprint or solutions – will take place once these targets are met,” Bhura concluded.
