Kolkata’s Alide Digital Art upgrades to Ricoh

Kolkata-based Alide Digital Art recently invested in a Ricoh Pro C7500 11-colour digital production press. The machine was supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.

Established a decade ago, Alide Digital Art is a commercial printer, which, with a team of half-dozen skilled staff, produces brochures, marketing collaterals, business cards, flyers, mailers, catalogues and others. “We believe in quality and consistency that excel. He added that the machine’s unique features and advanced capacity bring a new dynamic into their overall activities these days.                                              

Emphatically, Ricoh Pro C7500 is the epitome of 11-colour printing, as it can add an additional seven colours through its fifth colour station toners to the conventional CMYK. It means that the press is designed to encompass extra white toner, gold, silver, neon pink, neon yellow, clear, and invisible red for improvising graphics with added textures and effects.

Boosting the overall print quality and print production speed at Alide Digital Art, Ricoh Pro C7500 caters to graphic prints in resolutions of 2400×4800-dpi, which is considered the industry’s leading resolution, at 85-ppm, upgradable up to 95-ppm as per requirement. Compatibly, it takes up varied media ranging from 40-gsm up to 470-gsm. “Prints produced on the Ricoh Pro C7500 are free from cloudy colour fields and stripes. It makes sure that our products are now meeting high-standard print quality,” Banerjee said. 

He added, “Earlier, we used to run Konica Minolta AccurioPress C3070P and Xerox 700 digital production presses. Today, in place of them, we have this advanced and upgraded Ricoh Pro C7500 as the sole workhorse in our facility for all core activities.”
