Debnath Saha, proprietor, New Diya Digital, said, “Our significant challenge, which emerged during our expansion efforts, involved the need for digital printers in our facility. This led us to explore various options and collaborate with multiple competitors. Ultimately, our search brought us to Ricoh, a solution provided by the Minosha team. I also visited the Minosha stall at Pamex 2024 and was impressed with the machine’s performance and with the assistance of the sales team decided to go with ProC9500.”

He said incorporating Ricoh into its operations has streamlined its printing processes, particularly for variable data. “As a company focused on printing labels and tags with barcodes, the role of digital printing presses, such as Ricoh, is crucial. The ease with which Ricoh handles small quantities of variable data has notably improved our printing capabilities. This strategic alignment with Minosha and its Ricoh solution has proven instrumental in overcoming our challenges and enhancing the efficiency of our printing operations,” he said, adding, “Minosha conducted comprehensive training sessions for our operators. Also, Minosha’s pre-sales manager regularly guides them in colour management, media flexibility, and colour profiles. This ongoing expert support ensures that our team remains well-versed in utilising Ricoh products to their full potential.”

Based in Kolkata, Debnath Saha runs two firms, Diya Digital and New Diya Digital. Specialising in brochures, danglers, and leaflets in the barcode printing and labelling industry, celebrating over 18 years in the industry, Diya Digital takes pride in being one of the first in its locality to install Ricoh Pro C9500.

Saha said, “In our assessment, Ricoh machines exhibit a remarkable level of sophistication, being relatively recent additions to the market. Their downsides are minimal, contributing to a positive overall impression. The Ricoh C9500, in particular, is a high-end machine that offers the flexibility to handle higher gsm papers, resulting in superior print quality. We have observed that Ricoh products excel in print quality, media flexibility, uptime, and productivity when compared to competing products. Leveraging these attributes, we find ourselves well-equipped to handle a diverse range of specialised tasks and specific applications.”

He added, “Since the installation of the Pro C9500, which has been running on the shopfloor for the last few months, the company’s per month volume of prints increased from 30,000 to 1,90,000 prints. The quality is getting appreciated. The speed is unmatchable, the production capacity is huge, and the print quality has improved by 60- 70%.”
